The Grossmont Liberal Arts & Business Tech Complex project involves critical updates and enhancements to Buildings 51 and 55, as well as targeted site improvements to ensure accessibility and modern functionality.

Key features include:

• Building Renovations: Voluntary structural rehabilitation and interior upgrades to Buildings 51 and 55
• Accessibility Enhancements: Updates to paths of travel, restroom facilities, and modifications to Building 56 (parking structure) with revised striping and signage for accessible parking stalls.
• Additional Upgrades: Modifications to the men’s restroom in Building 53 to enhance usability and compliance.

This project focuses on structural integrity, ADA compliance, and improved facilities, contributing to a more accessible and functional environment for students and staff at Grossmont College.

This project involved a comprehensive structural and renovation upgrade of a 7,700 sq. ft. building, transforming the existing space into state-of-the-art laboratories designed for enhanced educational use. The scope of work also included extensive infrastructure sitework, the addition of exterior accessibility paths of travel to meet ADA compliance, and the replacement of hardscape elements to improve both functionality and aesthetics of the surrounding area.
